How We Work
Our office works differently than most traditional healthcare settings, which is why we’d like to tell you a little bit more about how we work.
- A Thorough Evaluation
Knowing all about your health history is an important part of our care because it gives us insight into where you've been with your health. To ensure we know all of the details, we'll ask you to fill out an extensive form that provides Dr. Woyak with a complete picture of your personal and family health history. She will evaluate and discuss this with you in order to learn what your concerns are at the deepest level.
- In-Depth Exams
Physical and neurological exams are both important parts in your journey to better health. These can give Dr. Woyak a better picture of what's going on and help her see issues that you may not even know exist. She uses the best equipment and years of experience to make sure exams are as comfortable as possible.
- Lab Work
In many situations, lab work is crucial in learning more about what’s going on inside of your body. Something like comprehensive blood work can tell Dr. Woyak more about thyroid or diabetes than any of your symptoms can. Lab tests vary for each patient, depending on the concerns they come to us with.
- Discussing Your Options
Once your exam and test results have been evaluated and you’ve had a discussion about your health, Dr. Woyak will tell you about the solutions that she feels are suitable for you. An important part of this discussion is giving you the time to ask questions while also educating you on why certain solutions are recommended. We feel that by spending more time with you, it empowers you to begin taking better care of yourself while implementing those solutions into your life.
A Personalized Experience
Comprehensive care is our standard for each and every patient who works with us. However, the journey of each individual will be unique. This may mean different lab tests, different exams, and more or fewer visits to the office. Personalized care like this ensures you’re given the best experience so you can move forward with your health.
Dr. Ashley Woyak is excited to work with you here at our clinic in Madison where we pride ourselves with the quality you won't find at your traditional doctors - attentive, respectful, compassionate and time considerate to all our patients. Dr. Woyak evaluates and treats the whole patient. She combines naturopathic, chiropractic, functional medicine, and functional neurology modalities in the management and support of the chronic health concerns you see listed under our services.
Heart disease, cancer, stroke, and autoimmune conditions have become some of the leading causes of death in the United States (unintentional drug overdoses and medical errors also top the list!). These chronic conditions have become an epidemic and traditional medicine does not have a cure. The U.S. is one of the sickest and most obese nations in the world, yet we spend more on “health care” per person than any other country. The health care model in the U.S. is a pharmaceutically driven system and you cannot medicate yourself out of a chronic illness.
To reach optimal health one must identify and address the true underlying causes of the disease. This is what we do at Forward Natural Medicine.
If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired and want real answers to your health problems we invite you to explore this website. Watch the many informative videos explaining the true causes to chronic illness and more importantly what you can do about it. These are things that you will not hear from your traditional medical doctor.
Please explore this site- it may very well be the first step you take to finally getting your life back!
